Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a scientific method of treatment that is based on the law of similars. It involves treating sick people with remedies that, in a healthy person would produce symptoms similar to those of the illness. The homeopathic remedies are derived from natural sources and made into non-toxic remedies.

With the body's innate ability to heal itself, a homeopathic remedy is given to stimulate the healing process and bring about recovery.  The greater the degree of similarity between the symptoms that are provoked in a healthy person by the remedy  and the symptoms manifested by the person who is ill, the greater the recovery will be (Law of Similars).

An individual who is acutely or chronically ill is in a state of imbalance. The sick person's experience of this imbalance and the symptoms manifested are unique to that individual. To use a homeopathic remedy, a detailed history and physical exam are completed in order to seek the remedy that most closely matches the state of imbalance the sick person is experiencing.

Using homeopathy can benefit your overall health by reducing or eliminating symptoms, improving digestive function and decreasing the duration of acute illness.
