- Traditional Chinese Diagnosis

- Lifestyle & Diet Therapies
The person is regarded as an entity with a set of complete and sophisticated interconnected systems, termed organ systems. An organ system in TCM is conceptualized differently than in Western Medicine. When we refer to a particular organ, it is not meant as simply the physical tissue. The organ system carries out many physiological, mental, emotional and spiritual functions in the individual as well. The organ systems usually work in harmony to maintain the healthy function of the body. Qi ("chi") is the life energy that flows throughout the individual regulating the function of the organ systems. Treatment using TCM stimulates the body's innate healing ability and restores harmony by regulating, balancing and unblocking the Qi. When receiving TCM treatment, you may experience such benefits as increased general well-being, decreased pain, improved immunity and more restful sleep.
